Trishta Dordi

Trishta Dordi is an Associate Attorney at Melmed Law Group, where she represents plaintiffs in complex employment disputes.

Trishta graduated from New York University in 2019 with a B.A. in English Literature, graduating cum laude with honors. She continued her education at LMU Loyola Law School, completing her Juris Doctor in 2023 as a full scholarship recipient. At Loyola, Trishta founded the Homeless Rights Law Society, focusing on decriminalizing homelessness and improving access to affordable housing, and led the Criminal Law Society as President, organizing discussions on criminal justice reform with a diverse array of legal professionals.

Trishta’s professional path during law school included an externship at the Public Law Center, where she handled sensitive applications for humanitarian parole and visas for victims of severe threats and injustices. She also completed an externship clerking at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Superior Court of Los Angeles.

In the Summer of 2022, Trishta received the CELA/FAIR Employee Justice Summer Fellowship, as one of only twelve awardees in California. In conjunction with her fellowship, Trishta clerked at Hadsell Stormer Renick & Dai, a leading civil rights firm, where she worked on cases related to police misconduct and employment discrimination.

After law school, Trishta gained further litigation experience managing her own caseload at a boutique firm focused on medical malpractice and employment law.

In her career, Trishta remains committed to advocating for the rights of vulnerable populations, focusing on achieving fairness and justice.
